Project for crop

Friday, December 24, 2010

Well here it is Christmas Eve morning 2010. It's 8:45 a.m. and in 2 hours and 15 minutes I get to go pick up my new baby girl. YEA!! My little yorkie that Ray is getting me for Christmas. Yeh, I'm just a little excited. hehehe I wanted to let everyone know that for the project for the crop I used all Creative Memories products except for the coaster and the hemp. It was a fun project to work on I used the cheerfull seasons cricut cart. from cm for the font and the snowflakes and I used the cm chalking ink to tone down the color of the letters. They were a bit too bright for my liking. Both papers, yep you guessed it cm also. Well gotta go get ready to go pick up our new addition to the family.I will post pictures later. Merry Christmas Eve everyone.

Here it is Sunday already

Good morning everyone. I've had a very nice weekend so far. Yesterday I actually got to spend some time with my ole bestie Tammy. We started off by going to Panera for a bagel, juice and coffee. It was so nice to spend some time with her and catch up on things. After that we headed to Perrysburg to go to Kohls, then off to Meijer to mail some pkgs. Oh my goodness the traffic was terrible over there. I finally bought a down comforter for our bed at Kohls. They were having some awesome sales. It was a good day. So this morning (Sunday)I got up rather early to let Tinker Bell out. So I stayed up and made some Chex mix, wrapped presents and made puppy chow. Mmm and it's all good. I'm so excited, five more days and I get my Christmas present from Ray which is my puppy. I'm really leaning towards Chloe for her name. Mainly because that's a name that I really like. I can't wait to get my new little bundle of joy. I hope she is going to be happy here. I miss Mickey so much!!! Have I mentioned before that Mandy had a canvas portrait done of Mickey for me for my birthday? They brought it out the other night. She had Marlene Barrett do it for me. She's the lady that painted Gunner for Craig to give to mandy. She does awesome work. It's from a picture I took of him years ago. OMG!! It's beautiful. Talk about holding back tears...It looks just like him. It's awesome. What a surprise when I opened the box!! I will try to take a picture and post at some point. I really want to get a frame made for it first so I can get it put up. Gonna go see what I can get in to now. ttfn

precious puppy

Thoughts for the day

Good morning everyone. Happy Saturday!! I am just sitting here in the scrapcave thinking about how I can't believe that Thanksgiving is over and Christmas is just around the corner. We had a GREAT Thanksgiving. We went to mom and dads for lunch. Everyone was there except for Brad and Tracy. The food was very good as always. I made pumpkin and apple pies and they even turned out good. I thought I would save the pecan for Christmas. Speaking of Christmas, You'll never guess what I am getting from Ray this year!? Well, last Sunday Nov. 28th in the morning he told me to get dressed because we have somewhere to go. UGH! Alright I got dressed and we went up to BG Cafe parking lot and he said someone was supposed to meet us there, but they weren't there. So we went in and ate breakfast. When we were done he took me to a house on Lorraine in BG. When we were walking up to the house there were two yorkies outside. When I saw the people that lived there it was Rusty and Tiffany Sheeks' house. I knew that they had puppies because I had commented about them on facebook, Tiffany had posted pictures. When we went in there were the two puppies...teeny, tiny cute little yorkie puppies. Tiffany handed us one and told us she is the one we will be getting. They fit in your hand. OMG! I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Laugh with excitement because it hit me that I was actually getting my little girl!! Cry because their two look so much like Mickey in the face and I REALLY miss him and ALWAYS will. So there is my excitement. yahoo!! The mommy is Chloe(I love that name) and the daddy is Scrappy( I love that one too because I love to scrapbook). The two little girls were born Oct. 30th which means I cant get her till Dec. 30th, right before we go back to work from vacation. Drats!!!! The other little girl has already been taken and her name is going to be Sassy. Okay, now for a name for my little girl...I love the name Chloe and also like Sophie but then there is Sadie and I like that too. Hmmm.

It's my birthday!!

Our company has arrived. YEA!! Andy , Andrew and Austin came up for a visit. We are so happy to see them. I think Ray and Andy are resting their eyes so I snuck off to my scrapcave. I gotta say I don't look forward to birthdays so much anymore. Not like I used to. Isn't it funny how those things change? Well here's the update on my gypsy, I got all the free uploads put on. And I even put one of my own cart's on it(speaking of fall). I'm a little nervous about doing that. I'm o afraid I am going to lose my gypsy or it's going to break and then I can't upload them again, only one time. Then I watched Emma's video's and tried to weld my name. Key word here is "tried". I think maybe I should have listened a little better about the welding part because I ended up with bits n pieces. Oops!! I think I will watch the welding part again. heheheI got my sleeve and screen protectors and stylus' that I ordered. I'm glad I got the black n white sleeve. Ray is getting me the black n white polka dot bag for my expression for my birthday. Hopefully it comes today. Not that I need it to go anywhere anytime soon. No crops on the books till after the holidays. I just got a package in the mail and it was the shoulder bag for gypsy girl. That will be nice to keep everything in. Especially in this mess that I call my scrapcave.

My new Gypsy and Benefit for Weston Legion Post 409

Hey everyone. I have had the best week. First of allmCricutMachine.com was running a great sale so I actually ordered a Gypsy, something I didn't really want until I saw what Emma does with hers. She is awesome. So I ordered that Wed. morning, then on Thursday we went to the TSO concert at Hunington Center in Toledo. It was more than AWESOME!!! We met Toni Brown and her daughter Teresa and a friend at Spaghetti Warehouse at 5:30 had a really good supper then went to the concert. Ray and I had put in for a vacation day on Friday but at the last minute Randy asked Ray to come in because Grunt had an appt. and wouldn't be there to take his place. Grrr I stayed home anyway to get ready for Saturdays scrapbooking at the Legion. My Gypsy came in the mail on Friday, now what to do with it? That's the $100 question. Friday night I took my stuff up to the Legion to set up. You see I'm having a benefit crop for the Legion. All the profits from registrations is going to them. I have 11 people registered including, Amber, Ann, Kim, Cindy, Terri, Sunshine, Addy, Scarlet, Emilia, Melissa Davis Yates, and myself. Unfortunately Cindy got sick and couldn't come(missed you Cindy). I had a project with coasters for everyone to do and goody bags for all. For the two little girls I also put a princes pez dispenser in their bag. It was a great time and I think the legion appreciated it. Thanks go out to all who participated. So today what am I doing? Trying to figure out how to put the other 5 free cart. downloads on the Gypsy. I figured out the first two but that's all I got for now. Have a great rest of the weekend. It's kind of chilly here today but the last two days were beautiful. Enjoy!! Oh and Happy scrappin'

What a week

Oh my what a week. I went to the dentist and he fixed my front teethe. They look like they used to. I also need to have the root tips of two teethe removed plus I can either have a root canal done or get this other one pulled. Well,I think I've decided on the root canal but I want to get it done before we go to Georgia next week so I can eat at Lady and Sons(Paula Deens place) and Rays moms fried chicken. I tried to call Friday to set up an appt. but they were closed so now I have to work myself up to it again Monday, ugh!Today Ray and Jim tried to put new parts on my car to get it ready to go,but the part Ray bought a while ago is the wrong one. So now they have order another from the place Jim got the right part for the other side from. Goodness. I have been cleaning the house trying to get ready for Matt and Mandy. They are going to stay here while we're gone. Thank goodness!! I really want to cut out a gator and make a page for Okefenokee Swamp. Ray wants to go there and take a boat ride. We were there in '99 I think. It's in Waycross GA. And there are lots and lots of gators there.ttfn

Sunday

Hi everyone. Hope your having a good Sunday evening. We went to our friend Kim's 51st birthday party today. There was all kinds of great food. There were saurkraut balls, boiled dinner, and all kinds of snacks and deserets. We had a great time. I certainly hope you all survived NSD. I watched Pink Stamper and her design team all day. They had some really neat challenges and really neat projects. You should check them out. Emma one of the design team members makes the cutest things out of the "create a critter" cricut cartridge. So yeh I HAD to win one on ebay today(it's Emma's fault). hehehe The whole team did an awesome job. I have yet to make a cut with my new expression. I think I will do that when I get done here. I'll tell ya those girls make it look SO easy. I wish I had half the talent they do. Great job girls.

NSD May 1, 2010

Hi everybody. Happy National Scrapbook Day!! Of course this only means something special to those of us that scrapbook. To everyone else it's just another day. So this morning I am gonna straighten up my scrapcave and spend a bit of time in here today. I'm gonna get that big bug hooked up and start crankin' out the cards and layouts. We didn't get home early enough last night for me to clean so now I have it all to do before MPS starts her challeges. We ended up eating at the Chinese place in Findlay where Ryans used to be. It's very good. Then we did a little shopping at Meijer. Oooo does the Meijer in Findlay have alot of cartridges. I had to resist. I've been bad on ebay lately. I got Tags, Bags, Boxes and More, Storybook and Songbird. Theres a couple more I would really like to have too. I wonder if others stores will match Big Lots adds? hmm The reason I ask is because Big Lots had cart's. for $30 this week. I could go to Hobby Lobby or Michaels and be a happy camper if they would price match. Gonna go for now, I've got to get to work in here or I'm not going to be scrappin'.

Woohoo! It's Friday

Woohoo! It's Friday. Yea!! And tomorrow is National Scrapbook Day. I am celebrating it by myself and scrapping all day. At least thats what the plans are. So I want it to rain so I don't feel guilty about sitting inside. lol But first I must clean the scrapcave. Ugh! It's been a long time since thats been done. I need to find room to put my brand spanking new big bug. I am excited to use it but nervous at the same time. It has so many more buttons than the baby. Oh and guess what!? My Tags, Bags, Boxes and more cart. came yesterday. Yippee!! I also have Songbird coming and Storybook too. Can't wait for Storybook to get here. Well I'm gonna get ready to go out to eat with dh. I told him I would like to go some place nice. Then I need to come home and clean this mess so I can scrap tomorrow, while doing challenges from My Pink Stamper. Bye for now. HAPPY SCRAPPIN'

I gotta big bug!!

I'm so excited!! Last night Ray went to Pizza Hut to pick up their $10.00 special for supper,oh and ice cream. I wanted to stay home, feeling bad about puting TinkerBell back in the cage so soon after getting off work. We did get 2 more hours of OT tonight and 2 last night.(woohoo) Anyway, I was in my scrapcave and he called my phone and said "Will you come help me with the ice cream so it doesn't get all over" (too late) hehehe. So I went to help him with the ice cream and get stuff from the back seat and looked over and what did I see?! A CRICUT EXPRESSION!!! Thats what I saw. In my back seat, for me!!! YA Hoo. I had been saving my Michael gift cards and watching sale adds to try to get one. Now I have one. Yippee!! He went and got one for me. (Thanks Ray)See It's been a very good month!!!! Oh the ice cream was good and the supper, it turned in to our lunch after we ate the ice cream.

What a month and it's only half over. WooHoo

Hi again everyone. Oh my what a month it's been. But it's been a good one in many ways. Oh my where do I begin? A week ago Ray needed to go to Tiffin to pick something up that he had gotten off of Craigs list. Well I thru a little hissy because we were just in Tiffin over the weekend because I wanted to go see Suzie at ScrapHappy and do a little shopping at her store. Well, I ended up riding with him. Little did I know what he had gotten off Craigs list was a surprise for me. When we finally found the place he went inside the house for a bit. When he came out a man and woman came out too. The woman was holding a min pin(we had looked at these before we got Rowdy and Abby)I told them that she was cute and the lady asked if I wanted to hold her so I did. She was a very friendly puppy. Then Ray said well let me go get her stuff. My reaction was"who's stuff"? They said her stuff, she's your puppy and her name is TinkerBell. So home we came with a puppy. This is exciting to me but at the same time I was feeling very guilty. Guilty because I didn't want Mickey to think I was trying to replace him. No dog would ever replace Mickey, but would he understand that? So I was really having mixed feelings at that point. She is very cute and very friendly. So we are on yet another adveture.

Easter 2010

Good morning and Happy Easter to everyone. I hope the Easter bunny found your homes alright. How many of your little ones are running around on sugar power already? I remember those days. Yeh, just try to make them eat breakfast. lol We are going to hide Easter eggs outside for our grandsons when some of the dew dries up. I would rather not give them a bunch of candy but there's not too many other things you can buy to put in the plastic eggs. I got a couple of hot wheels but I'm thinking they will be too big also. Ideas for next year, anyone?! If I had a cricut expression and tags, bags, boxes and more I would have made them little treat boxes. But no, I don't have either of those things yet(workin on it though). I do have some Michaels gift cards saved so I'm on my way. Now I just need a really good sale.he he he Well that's enough from me. Every one enjoy your day with family and friends. I will get some pic's. up when I figure out how. Happy scrappin' Robyn

Good Friday 2010

It looks like it's going to be a nice day out. I am so glad to have a three day weekend. There's been so much going on at work. Ugh!! I really think I am going to enjoy a few days off. I am still trying to figure out the picture thing on here. I'm just a dummy when it comes to the computer. Ok, well the new cell phone too, and maybe the cricut sometimes. Alright, maybe there are a few more things but thats all I'm going to mention for now. So I got up kind of early, checked out my farms and they are doing okay. I still have to clean the toilet paper off my barn(thanks Amber and Jackie). now I think I am going to go outside for a while then Ray and I are going to go out to eat and I would like to go to Scraphappy. Then tonight we are working at the fish/steak fry at the Weston Legion. Sometime(hopefully tomorrow) I can get my scrapcave cleaned up and finish up on my taxes. I'm really glad my inventory is done already! Have a nice Good Friday.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone. I hope you all had a great Christmas. I know I did. The only thing wrong was that it really didnt feel like Christmas. Not quite sure what the problem was but can't worry about that now. So did you all get what you wanted for Christmas? I did as well as for my birthday(the end of Nov.) Well, starting with my birthday, Amber, Brett and the boys got me the cricut cart. "Snow Friends"then Ray got me"When It's Cold Outside" and"Very Merry Tags". My homemade gifts for my girls was an 8X8 recipe book with some favorite family recipes in it. So of course I had to get "From My Kitchen". Then for our anniversary on Dec. 23rd Ray got me"Winter Woodland" And last but not least for Christmas he got me "Hello Kitty Greetings" and "Everyday Paper Dolls." So yeh it's been an awesome holiday season for me! One can never have too many cart's. you know. he! he! So what are some of the scrapbooking /cardmaking items you all got? Well, I go back to work tomorrow, where did the last week and a half go? I love time off when we don't have a g'zillion things to do. Well I'm gonna try to figure out how to put pic's on this site so wish me luck. See ya soon! Happy scrappin' Robyn
