Thoughts for the day
Good morning everyone. Happy Saturday!! I am just sitting here in the scrapcave thinking about how I can't believe that Thanksgiving is over and Christmas is just around the corner. We had a GREAT Thanksgiving. We went to mom and dads for lunch. Everyone was there except for Brad and Tracy. The food was very good as always. I made pumpkin and apple pies and they even turned out good. I thought I would save the pecan for Christmas. Speaking of Christmas, You'll never guess what I am getting from Ray this year!? Well, last Sunday Nov. 28th in the morning he told me to get dressed because we have somewhere to go. UGH! Alright I got dressed and we went up to BG Cafe parking lot and he said someone was supposed to meet us there, but they weren't there. So we went in and ate breakfast. When we were done he took me to a house on Lorraine in BG. When we were walking up to the house there were two yorkies outside. When I saw the people that lived there it was Rusty and Tiffany Sheeks' house. I knew that they had puppies because I had commented about them on facebook, Tiffany had posted pictures. When we went in there were the two puppies...teeny, tiny cute little yorkie puppies. Tiffany handed us one and told us she is the one we will be getting. They fit in your hand. OMG! I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Laugh with excitement because it hit me that I was actually getting my little girl!! Cry because their two look so much like Mickey in the face and I REALLY miss him and ALWAYS will. So there is my excitement. yahoo!! The mommy is Chloe(I love that name) and the daddy is Scrappy( I love that one too because I love to scrapbook). The two little girls were born Oct. 30th which means I cant get her till Dec. 30th, right before we go back to work from vacation. Drats!!!! The other little girl has already been taken and her name is going to be Sassy. Okay, now for a name for my little girl...I love the name Chloe and also like Sophie but then there is Sadie and I like that too. Hmmm.
